Back From the Field
We left FOB Maple Leaf Saturday morning after approximately two weeks in a windy sandy crap hole.
Croswhite, Guelzow, Turnbow, Tarkington, and White with our flying pig fighting a banana. The Infantry made fun of the scouts and tankers, and their cute little rock gardens.
I got to come out of the filed for a day to square the wife and house matters, that was nice. This is us in our new house.
I am the son of a Dutch Immigrant and an Arkansas All-Star footballer. I was born in Bellflower CA. I have also lived in Carthage MO. and Little Rock AR. I spent twenty years in Lakewood CA.
On June 4th, 2007 I joined the US Army and graduated from Fort Benning as an Infantryman on September 14th. Shortly after I was sent to Fort Bliss in El Paso Texas.
I married Annalisa Ure on December 20, 2007. We both now live in El Paso.
