I did five miles in 40:45. That's a 7 minute improvement from Monday!

Friday Fun With Infantry

I haven't updated in awhile. Here are a few things that have been going on. Friday was a good day. We had our weekly BBQ with our platoon. Then we all headed over to the German bar for our Bayonet Call. Which is a chance for Aries Company to get together and blow of some steam. The grog wasn't so bad, and PFC Larson who is from 2 platoon third squad gained some respect by chugging the most of his donation to the grog. We had skits mid way through the night. First platoon went first since they won last year. But second platoon, headed up by third squad took the prize with our look at a day with Sgt. Cowin. Sgt. Cowin said he hadn't laughed that hard in a long time. I'm trying to get the video.

Another thing, a heavy weapons squad is rumored to being formed soon, and my squad leader SSgt. Humpries is pushing for myself and PFC White to be his 240 gunners. Good times!
